Miami, FL. 02/25/23 – Thinking Lion was honored to have directed and worked alongside unique producers and professionals for another year at Univision’s PREMIO LO NUESTRO (PLN), this time in its 35th edition.

Spectacular performances, super talented artists, impeccable stage, creatives and lighting were part of the  longest-running Latin Music Award Show in the U.S., and has secured Univision’s No. 1 network ranking on all of television in primetime for the fourth consecutive year.

Miami, FL. 02/19/22 – Univision’s PLN returns this year with lots of surprises! 

Since its inception in 1989, PREMIO LO NUESTRO has served as a global platform for Hispanic artists and has set the trend for what is to come, especially in music. Set to air LIVE from Miami–Dade Arena on February 23rd, the show will be directed by International Emmy Award Winner, the live tv and multi-camera director, Marcelo Gama.

Musicares, a lesson in music history


Los Angeles, CA. 02/03/22 – Since its inception in 1991,  MusiCares has been dedicated to uplifting the importance of equality, empowerment, and representation in music. 

Person of the Year is MusiCares’ annual GRAMMY week event that celebrates their honorees’ creative accomplishments and philanthropic work, Thinking Lion is delighted to have contributed to the success of the event once more, through the meticulous work of Director Marcelo Gama, who strategically positioned each camera not to miss an inch of such a dazzling stage.

Our CEO & Director felt grateful to have been included in the gala event, which was also a remarkable history lesson on music icons.



A director’s POV: the Televisa, Mexico project

Mexico City, Mx. 02/15/22 – Televisa is about to announce the dates for a new show that will bring you to tears, and Thinking Lion, represented by our CEO, Director Marcelo Gama, is proud to have shared in a contribution through a hands-on workshop, conducted by Marcelo himself. With the purpose of making this show  even more emotional and exciting, the director designed meticulous strategies for the network. 

At Televisa – CDMX, a space was created for a group of producers, directors and all people involved to meet, brainstorm ideas, identify problems, and make decisions. While in classes, Marcelo evaluates every detail of this new show and develops the most innovative, creative and practical solutions.
